Managing Monnig’s:

O.E. Monnig opened the Waco branch of Monnig’s in 1932. While O.E. Monnig certainly remained important to the department store, he also became involved in the Waco community. He attended St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and was a member of the Waco Masonic Lodge.
