R. T. Dennis carried one of the largest retail stocks in the state of Texas and delivered to almost anywhere in the state. Dennis traveled around the country buying stock for his store, from Grand Rapids to Chicago and New York, so the selection was also one of the best in the state. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, such travel was no easy task.
