Elvis loved the Fadal children, Janice and Dana. Janice claims she is probably the only girl to ever wipe off a kiss from Elvis, one that he planted on her five-year-old cheek right after eating a pickle. Elvis called her brother Dana “Reddy Kilowatt,” after the cartoon used in public service announcements about electricity safety, because of his fascination with light bulbs. Dana would rather play with a light bulb than any of the toys the Fadals bought him.
