When Elvis was at Fort Hood he would eat at the Elite Café in Waco. Until its closing in 2016, the restaurant kept the Elvis sandwich, his usual order, on their menu: Texas toast with peanut butter, banana, and bacon. He also frequented Health Camp next door to the Elite for ice cream sodas. Though the Elite has closed, Janice Fadal ensures that the supplies for his sandwich are always stocked in their home for her Air Bnb guests to enjoy.
