For Waco to New York (1992)

Several members of the Waco and China Spring Bahá’í community travelled to New York City to attend the second Bahá’í World Congress in November 1992. The Bahá’í World Congress is a gathering of Bahá’ís worldwide called irregularly by the Universal House of Justice, the governing body of the Bahá’ís. The 1992 conference took place to honor the 100th anniversary of the passing of Bahá’u’lláh, founder of the Bahá’í Faith.
