Pictured here is one of the company’s smaller wagons, likely used to make small deliveries and supply the company’s multiple ice stations located throughout the city. Ice men, such as the one pictured here, worked their way up in the company from horse-drawn wagons to motorized trucks. The company employed as many as seventy-five men during the hot season and thirty-five men during the winter.
